    Three-year-old fillies will take to the turf for the $150,000 Edgewood presented by Kentucky National Insurance.

  • $100,000 Eight Belles presented by Xerox (GIII)

    The $100,000 Eight Belles (GIII) presented by Xerox is a race for three-year-old fillies traveling seven furlongs on the main track.

    Formerly called the La Troienne Stakes, the race has been known as the Eight Belles since 2009.  Last year's edition of the race was won by Victoria's Wildcat.

  • $300,000 Alysheba presented by Besilu Stables (GIII)

    The $300,000 Alysheba (GIII) presented by Besilu Stables features older horses going 1 1/16 miles on the main track.

     The Alysheba has always proved to be an exciting race. In 2010, Arson Squad won the stakes, and became the oldest winner in the history of the race as a seven-year-old. The 2011 edition was just as thrilling with horses finishing only noses apart at the wire. First Dude gamely dug in to win the Alysheba over classy runner Regal Ransom.

  • $300,000 La Troienne presented by Steelcase and ORI (GII)

    The $300,000 La Troienne (GII) presented by Steelcase and ORI  features fillies and mares, three-years-old and up going 1 1/16 miles over the main track.

    The 2010 edition of the race resulted in a thrilled stretch drive which saw longshot Unrivaled Belle upset heavily favored reigning Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra.  Unrivaled Belle would go on to win the Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic to close out her season. Last year, 2010 Kentucky Oaks winner, Blind Luck, prevailed in the La Troienne over previous winner Unrivaled Belle.

  • $200,000 American Turf presented by Ram (GII)

    The $200,000 American Turf (GII) presented by RAM features 3-year-olds going 1 1/16 miles over the Matt Winn Turf Course.

    Last year, Banned showed an impressive effort and decisively ran away from his rivals in The American Turf (GII).

  • $1,000,000 Kentucky Oaks (GI)

    The $1,000,000 Kentucky Oaks (GI) is the sister race to the Kentucky Derby.  Three-year-old fillies will compete in the richest race for sophomore fillies where the winner will be adorned in a garland of lilies.

    Last year's winner, Plum Pretty gave trainer Bob Baffert his second win in the race. Baffert also trained 1999 Kentucky Oaks winner and superstar filly, Silverbulletday. The winner of the 2009 Kentucky Oaks, Rachel Alexandra, holds the record for the largest margin of victory in the race when she won by 20 1/4 lengths.
