Churchill Downs & Waky 103.5 will partner for the return of the World’s Largest Free Picnic which will be held in the Churchill Downs Infield on Friday, July 4th. Waky 103.5 will provide entertainment, beginning at 11:00 AM & lasting throughout the day, with local bands ranging from the Monarchs to Crushed Velvet. Other picnic activities include a classic car show & inflatables for the kids. Guests can also enjoy free hot dogs compliments of Fischer’s the smile makin’ people & free Pepsi products compliments of Waky 103.5.
Complimentary admission passes can be picked up at all Furniture Liquidators and First Federal Savings Bank locations as well as Bob Hook and Louisville RV. Day of event, Waky 103.5 will distribute complimentary admission passes to the World’s Largest Free Picnic attendees outside of Admission Gate 10 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Donny Dynamite & the Dominos will perform outside of Gate 10 from 11:00 AM to approximately 11:30 AM when the festivities will move to the infield. Each patron entering the picnic will receive a perforated coupon redeemable for one Fischer’s hot dog and one Pepsi product as they enter infield tunnel from the grandstand.
