Little Feat (5) goes first off the claim for a successful stable and has been running well at a similar level. Canyon Drive (7) exits consecutive wins against equal fields and fits with these. U Hush (6) ran one of his best efforts last out.
Race 2 2-4-6
Tiban (2) is in excellent form and can make it five in a row in another new stable. Case Clocker (4) is also in good form and adds to the pace today. Lou Brissie (6) will benefit from the pace in this race as he also debuts for a new barn.
Race 3 6-5-2
Miz Wounded Knee (6) drops out of two even efforts against stronger fields and figures strong today. Tricolette (2) has worked steadily for her debut.
Race 4 4-1-6
Dover Beach (4) takes a sharp class drop and gets the slight edge in a well matched group. Burr Jimmy (1) drew off when facing bottom maiden claimers and is well spotted here. Theodore’s Cash (6) will need a pace setup and figures off his last two tries.
Race 5 2-6-5
Sky Captain (2) debuts for a top two-year-old barn with sharp works and a precocious pedigree. Stage Street (6) has worked well for good connections and looks like a major threat today. Let’s Have Us One (5) is another from the Asmussen barn with a win early pedigree.
Race 6 5-3-2
Keep Singing (5) drops in class, makes his second start off a layoff, and tries dirt for the first time – all changes that should move him forward here. Fawning (3) raced evenly at this level last out. Tap Down (2) goes for the lowest level today and has one effort that fits with these.
Race 7 2-1-9
Valerius (2) tries grass and goes for a new barn today that does well in these scenarios.
Race 8 8-9-4
Afleet Triumph (8) returns from a layoff with good morning drills and looks set to go here. Moonrush (9) ran well last out and takes another drop down the ladder today. Flashaholic (4) had a rough trip as the choice last out and can make amends today.
Race 9 8-3-4
Tater Downs (8) has a good turf pedigree and is in good form. Elkhorn Creek (3) is consistent but tends to settle for a minor award. St Moose (4) looks to be steadily improving and has a good running style for this race.
Race 10 6-3-1
In The Beat (6) seems to be rounding back to form and gets the slight edge in this tight field. Bluegrass Bull (3) has worked very well and could get a perfect trip on the turnback in distance. Shrill (1) improved position in his last start but will have to work out a trip from the rail.
Race 11 7-3-2-1-6
Miss Femme Fatale (7) ran well against winners and looks best here. Sweet On Kitten (3) may not have cared for a wet track and can do better than her last. Janice Sue (2) exits a stronger race and can improve off that effort. Guile (1) and Princess Mia (6) look best of the rest.
