Miz Wounded Knee (6) drops out of two even efforts against stronger fields and figures strong today. Tricolette (2) has worked steadily for her debut.

Dover Beach (4) takes a sharp class drop and gets the slight edge in a well matched group. Burr Jimmy (1) drew off when facing bottom maiden claimers and is well spotted here. Theodore’s Cash (6) will need a pace setup and figures off his last two tries.

Tater Downs (8) has a good turf pedigree and is in good form. Elkhorn Creek (3) is consistent but tends to settle for a minor award. St Moose (4) looks to be steadily improving and has a good running style for this race.

In The Beat (6) seems to be rounding back to form and gets the slight edge in this tight field. Bluegrass Bull (3) has worked very well and could get a perfect trip on the turnback in distance. Shrill (1) improved position in his last start but will have to work out a trip from the rail.

Miss Femme Fatale (7) ran well against winners and looks best here. Sweet On Kitten (3) may not have cared for a wet track and can do better than her last. Janice Sue (2) exits a stronger race and can improve off that effort. Guile (1) and Princess Mia (6) look best of the rest.
