Jill Byrne's Handicapping
Ka Dish Day (5) is a debut runner for a sharp barn meeting a suspect field today. Distinct Advantage (2) is like the top pick and has worked well for his first out. The entry of Inis Orr (1) and Zippity Dubai (1A) look formidable in this spot.
The Mimosa Lady (2) is in good form and drops to score today. Lady Charlie (3) returns to the claiming ranks for a sharp barn. May One (6) is consistent and handles any surface.
Regal Nurse (2) is the obvious choice here on short rest, looking to add to her streak of victories. Voodoo’s Vision (2B) also looks strong. Bressie (6) chased the top pick last out. Nancy’s Rap (1) and Stariana (1A) make a legitimate entry as well.
Thirsty Thursday (7) looks best here on the class drop and should handle the surface switch. Il Mostro (8) goes off the claim and looks sharp off his last start. Tigers Love Pepper (3) is a debut runner from a barn that can have them ready first out.
Symbol Of Support (5) makes her first start with some decent workouts and picks up Lanerie for her debut. Miss Betty P (8) adds blinkers and drops in class and has the experience edge. Divine Hope (1) is another first time runner with some good morning drills.
Expressively (1) has improved with each start and will be running late. Cypress Pond (6) seemed to run her best race on the turf last out and may move forward off that. Pretty Pleaser (7) always runs well but is tough to put on the top spot.
Braver (7) drops sharply off a dull effort but looks best on her previous races. Bellamy’s Rose (8) had a tough trip and made up ground late in a key race. Lotta Heart (5) returns to the main track and a level where she fits best.
Hamiltonian (3) debuts with a series of strong works and a solid pedigree. Money Only (4) has steadily improved and looks best of the ones who have started. Classy Cove (10) chased an easy winner last out and can move forward off that.
Silver Rock (4) makes his first start in 8 months and goes for a new barn today. He has the back class and looks ready to go off the layoff. Mystic (1) can improve in his second try off the layoff and rarely runs a poor race. Final Count (2) is inconsistent but can land a share of this.
Straight Town (3) debuts for top juvenile connections and has worked well. Indielo (1) and Animal Style (1A) are training well for a barn that does well with two year olds. Request A Puck (7) has worked steadily out of the gate. He’s So Fine (4) and Canadian Boss (12) look set to go in their debuts.
