Jill Byrne's Handicapping
Teller Terri (1) finished up well after a stumbling start last out and looks best here. Object (7) has shown speed and is working well for this. Bluegrass Sapphire (6) makes the second start off a layoff and had to overcome a wide trip last out.
Wildie (1) steps up off the claim for good connections in good form. Time For Dubai (3) drops in class and has to prove she can run on the dirt yet. Lindyhop (6) ran well at this level last time.
Red Rally (2) has speed, is in good form and ran well previously at Churchill. Home of the Gold (6) is in a new barn and gets the pace setup for the late run. Murjan (4) takes a class drop in his third start off a layoff.
Pavati (5) makes the debut with a sharp series of works and a top pedigree. Claire’s Song (3) goes turf to dirt and ran well on that surface at Gulfstream. Crozette (1) can improve off her debut but must overcome the inside post.
Guy’s Reward (1) comes back on short rest as a determined winner last out and gets a slight edge in a competitive field. Seruni (6) was a game winner from just off the pace over a good field and has the perfect running style for today. Zimmer (4) has speed and runs equally well on any surface.
Sea Song’s Hammer (4) returns from a layoff and was competitive at Saratoga finishing second behind Aristides winner Rothko. Queen’s Escort (2) worked sharply for this and has shown good speed in both starts. Crimson’s Roar (6) had three solid races at Hoosier and now returns from a break.
It’s a Signer (5) just missed at this level in his first start off the layoff and can improve. Ruse (8) has faced better and fits well off the Fairgrounds form. Toastmaster (2) has disappointed since being claimed but drops another level and may get back on track today.
The entry of Bonaparte (1) and Archenland (1A) both return from layoffs and are training well. They have solid back form and look formidable here. Our Noble Heart (7) exits a tough race and will get a favorable pace set up here with the race on the hedge. Full (3) was a sharp maiden winner and has a nice turf pedigree.
Chicago Nights (8) goes turf to dirt for a top barn against the weakest field she has faced. Chamakchallo (3) returns to the dirt at Churchill where she ran her two best races. Lay Up (4) faltered badly last out but is capable of better.
Double Pittsburgh (9) ran a couple of good efforts at Tampa and fits well here. Izzy Ali (5) is consistent and has a solid record at Churchill. Dabossman (7) exits a tougher marathon starter race and has run well locally at this level before.
Getaway Spot (7) can improve in her second start and with the switch to turf. Gottahaveadream (8) adds blinkers and has the speed to be in position early. Kicker (3) returns from a payoff and made up ground ate in both her prior turf races. Look Who’s Ritzy (5) and Kiss an Angel (10) round out the top five.
