Jill Byrne's Handicapping
Creaminyourcoffee (1) debuts for a sharp stable with a good series of works. Love Numbers (5) takes blinkers off for her second try off a layoff and drops aggressively today. Saint Aggie (7) was a good second last out and fits here.
Jungle Juice (4) was a hard fought winner off the claim last out and gets a narrow edge in a well matched group. Point (5) just missed as the favorite and is solid at this level. Pelago (3) goes first off the claim for a top stable and exits a key race win.
Almost An Angel (1A) ran well in her turf try and will like the shorter trip today. Justcallmemoni (1) joins her stablemate in good form. Zip Cash Back (5) ran well in her debut and has a pedigree for the turf. Gift of Gabby (3) is an interesting first time runner with a turf pedigree.
I.M. Boomer (7) makes his second start off a layoff and fits well with this field. Yo Coltrane (3) could not handle a quickly run race against better but is a factor off his prior effort. Little Feat (5) comes in off a big win for new connections.
Governor’s Badge (7) is in consistent form for a top stable and looks tough to go against off the class drop. McKayla’s Wish (4) is in good form and will be rolling late. Dr. Jajo (9) had a wide trip last out and finished well.
Outta Tune (10) is a Grade 3 stakes winner who fits neatly in this starter race for top connections. Honor In Peace (7) moves up in great form for a leading barn. Tiban (6) just missed at this level last out and picks up Borel today.
Judy The Beauty (1) returns from a long layoff for a sharp stable and takes blinkers off today. She has trained brilliantly but faces a very strong field. Wild About Marie (2) overcame a troubled trip and closed well for the win. She gets a favorable pace setup here. Cascadilla Falls (6) adds blinkers and returns to her favorite course.
Jagati (7) showed little in his return from a long break but is better than that effort and gets another chance today. Prince Silver (5) exits a very quick race and may not have liked the inside post that day. Big Blue Nation (6) takes blinkers off and exits a bad effort just behind the top pick last out.
High Stakes (9) puts blinkers on and may show more pace with that equipment change. Doc Heath (14) has been close at this level and figures if he gets in the gate. Monashee Vision (6) returns from a break and is working well. Fresh Cut (3) is a debut runner with some good morning drills. Pandering (11) fits here on his best effort.
