Jill Byrne's Handicapping
Dynamic Knight (4) was second at this level off the layoff and looks tough off that effort. Crafty Macho (3) is a stablemate of the top pick who drops in class today. Time For Prayer (8) drops sharply for a sharp stable.
All Her Class (5) is a well bred debut runner with good workouts and attracts leading rider Lanerie. Double Tapped (8) had a rough trip in her first start and can improve off that. Brown Eyes Blue (4) has been training well for her debut.
Coffee Boy (3) is in good form and gets the slight edge in a well matched group. Five Star David (2) finished in front of the top pick when they met and is also in excellent form. Silent Pipe (4) turns back in distance and in consistent.
Black Rhino (4) came off a long layoff with a sharp runner up finish and can move forward off that. Make A Fortune (9) was impressive in his debut win on the turf and can handle the step up today. Bravo Habibi (7) has good turf sprinting form and will be closing late.
Sassy Image (3) caught a tough field and a rough trip in her return from a break and can make amends for that effort on her best here. Salty Strike (4), like the top pick, is a Churchill specialist and is strong on her better performances. Cosmo Girl (7) can also improve in her second try off the layoff.
Roman’s Avenue (6) was an easy debut winner and has worked well since that start and has the pedigree to improve with the added distance. Positively (7) was equally impressive in his second try and also has a top pedigree. Circle Unbroken (2) adds to the impressive debut winners here and showed a lot of maturity in that win.
Sever (11) is stepping up off a win versus lesser but has shown the ability to compete here. Scariff Island (6) has put two good races back to back and fits well with these. Hammers Bullet (2) ran a solid race last out.
Kitty Wine (8) has run very well in all her turf tries and gets the edge in a competitive field. Beijoca (7) has improved steadily and gets a good pace setup. Teller Terri (11) has improved with each start and can step up here.
Snuggs and Kisses (4) returns to the dirt course and ran well versus a strong field here two races back. Quick Praise (6) did not perform as well on the turf as she does back on the main track. Marvel Gaye (1A) and Silver La Belle (1) make a formidable entry for a new stable.
Why Izzy Why (5) has been running evenly against stronger fields and looks tough on the drop here. Pretty Witty (11) adds blinkers and goes off the claim for a sharp stable. Storm Delay (1) also adds blinkers off the claim and can only improve off that dull debut.
Bail Me Out (6) just missed in her turf debut and looks strong in here. Courting Jennifer (4) ran well in her debut and can improve off that try. Cypress Pond (9) has improved since switching to the grass and will be well placed throughout. Marlin Mission (12) and Look Who’s Ritzy (10) round out the top five.
