Race 3 – Devil’s Hammock (9) faces the lowest level of his career and will be tough to go against off his prior form. Carousel Ten (11) has been consistent versus lesser company and has the speed to be well placed early. Ruler Boy (8) turns back in distance and should get plenty of early pace.
Race 4 – De Price (7) returns to claimers in his second try off the layoff and has a proven affinity for the local surface. Coosada (1) is solid at this level and has a slight speed edge over the top pick if he can work a trip from the rail. Grand Sensation (6) fits well with these on form but has never run well locally .
Race 5- Juliet’s Blessing (9) faltered off the layoff on the polytrack last out but can rebound today with the drop in class and return to Churchill. Venus De Milo (1) ran well in both her local starts and is very well placed here if she can work out a trip from the rail.. Brew Blessing (5) appears a bit better on synthetic but looks to get a share of this from off the pace.
Race 6- Missing Sefa (3) has a solid local record and will get a strong pace to set up her closing kick. Shesadozer (8) will try to wire this field under Borel but is a danger to face pressure early.
Race 7 – Gulfport (11) has been chasing some of the best juveniles all summer and shows a strong local work for today. Dyker Beach (7) made up ground in his debut and will move forward off that effort. Take It Like A Man (12) exits a good runner up finish in a quickly run race at Hoosier.
Race 8 – Rapacious (6) improved dramatically in his turf debut and a repeat of that performance makes him a logical contender here. Congenial (9) ran evenly in his first start off a long break and can move forward off that start in his second try on the grass.
Race 9 – Shrill (10) has run well locally against strong fields and may get the perfect trip from off the pace today in this well matched group. Hamiltonian (7) was over matched in the G-3 Phoenix and may prefer the return to dirt today as well. Shared Property (6) returns from a break with some good local drills. He represents a top stable and has the back class to be a danger if ready today.
Race 10 – Jardenia (2) drops in class for sharp connections and will be rolling late here. Honey C (3) is consistent as has the pace to get a good trip. I Got Rhythm (8) faltered against stronger last out and fits well here. Galloping Domino (7) and Bayona (6) will be a part of the Super Hi 5.
