Jill Byrne's Handicapping

  • Race 1 4-2-5

Race 1 – Tricolette (4) was in good form before going to the sidelines and returns today for a strong stable in a competitive field. Tipthetrolleygirl (2) goes first off the claim for good connections and has done little wrong in two starts. Bee Bee Q (5) steps into winners off an easy debut win and looks solid here.

  • Race 2 9-4-1

Race 2 – Sister Resistor (9) turns back in distance and returns to the main track where she has done her best running. Wind Energy (4) showed good speed last out and may get a clear lead in a race devoid of early pace. Sweetonrich (1) has been facing stronger company and will be rolling late from the rail.

  • Race 3 8-7-6-2-10

Race 3 – Dimples (8) has run well in all starts and now drops in class today for a sharp barn. Baby G (7) can improve off her debut effort and should like the added distance. Bo Derek (6) showed nothing against a tougher field in her debut and can do better today. Muchacha Macho (2) and Angel In Waiting (10) fit well in the Super Hi 5.

  • Race 4 1-7-2

Race 4 – Fantastique (1) exits an even effort as the favorite and is a specialist at today’s mile distance. Daring Delilah (7) has been solid against starter company and will be competitive if she can move her form to the main track. Afleet Lexi (2) has been in good form and is a winner over this course.

  • Race 5 4-6-3

Race 5- Upon Reflection (4) got up for the win off the layoff and is well placed today for leading connections. Gonna Tell Mama (6) could not handle open company last out but fits well at this level. Pandering (3) has shown some decent efforts at this condition and would be no surprise.

  • Race 6 4-1-15

Race 6 – Nomorewar (4) debuts for good connections with solid works and a pedigree to excel on the turf. Said (1) raced evenly in her debut and should improve today.

  • Race 7 6-4-2

Race 7- Shertzer (6) could not handle the soft grass recently and is better suited to the main track and distance today. Pisgah Station (4) is proven at the distance and ran well in both local tries. Nicklaus Way (2) drops in class today and will be rolling late under Borel.

  • Race 8 1-3-5

Race 8 – For Greater Glory (1) has run well in both tries and looks capable of stepping up in distance here. Marchman (3) looked good in his debut and has worked well locally for today. Scout Leader (5) is a beautifully bred debut runner from a top juvenile stable.

  • Race 9 1-3-5

Race 8 – For Greater Glory (1) has run well in both tries and looks capable of stepping up in distance here. Marchman (3) looked good in his debut and has worked well locally for today. Scout Leader (5) is a beautifully bred debut runner from a top juvenile stable.

  • Race 10 8-1-5-7-11

Race 10 – Rollingwiththetide (8) has two good efforts on the grass and should break through today. Cowhand (1) showed promise in his debut and looks to get a ground saving trip. Maserati (5) has been even in all three turf tries and will be closing late. Rodgerson (7) and Tobias (11) complete the Super Hi 5.
