Jill Byrne's Handicapping
Runaway Pepper (3) is in top form for good connections and fits well here. Horned Frog (2) is solid at this level over this surface and is clearly the one to beat. Practice Tee (6) is consistent and has a good pace angle here.
Hardtap (1) drops in class for his third try off a layoff. Unknown Gem (6) faltered badly in his first start off a layoff but can rebound today. Time to Ride (4) may prefer the main track and fits well with these.
Wealth To Me (2) is solid at this level and looks to get a perfect set up. Tycoon (3) drops in class today and has the speed to be a factor from the start. Goodtimehadbyall (6) has a good local record and can get part of this.
Starstruck (4) was impressive in her stateside winning debut and a repeat of that makes her tough to deny. Prissy (3) came back from a layoff with a solid gate to wire victory and looks to be the best speed. Sky High Lady (6) has back class and has trained well for her return today.
Grand Harbor (5) drops for a sharp stable and fits well here. Victory Courts (6) showed speed and held on well for second and is in a good spot here. Tiz Tebow Time (2) may improve with the added distance and class drop.
Soto’s Hija (4) finished well at this level last out and a repeat of that puts her in the mix. Two Steppin’ Tango (6) is in good form and the speed to be a factor from the start. Added Delight (1) is consistent and drops slightly for this spot.
Finesse (5) is a well bred newcomer for good connections with a solid series of works. In Kelly’s Defense (7) has three good efforts and is well placed on the outside here. Bird County (2) is another debut runner with a good pedigree and consistent morning drills.
- Race 8
Ouimet (4) has done little wrong in two starts and has worked well on the main track for this. Special Jo (2) makes his third start off the layoff and ran well over this surface last year. Googleado (9) has looked good in both USA starts and fits with these.
Renards Lapin (10) raced evenly in his turf debut and should improve off that. Sun Disk (5) has two decent turf tries and is a factor with this field. Intelyhente (2) returns from a layoff with a good set wof works for a sharp barn. Eu Te Pego (6) and Stylish D’Oro (7) complete the top five. JILL’S SELECTIONS- 10-5-2-6-7
