Jill Byrne's Handicapping
Froggyville (4) has been solid at this level and fits well here. Crown’s Path (3) is in good form and always runs his race. Katz My Song (5) is well drawn outside can be a factor with these.
Pearl Of A Girl (3) drops in class and look tough to go against. Blutadda (1) is lightly raced but goes for a good team off two strong races. Deemie (4) drops sharply off some poor efforts and can rebound.
Prettygood and You (1) returns to Churchill off a good race and has speed from the rail. Slavic Princess (2) exits two good wins and is a factor if she can bring that form to Churchill.
Perfect Praise (2) drops in class off two poor efforts but looks capable of a strong performance at this level. Queen Of Scioto (4) loves the local course and will be well placed from the start. Demure Halo (1) was a winner at Churchill versus better and can get back on track today.
CP Hath A Way (1) takes another class drop and returns to the main track in a race loaded with speed. Something Blue (8) takes a dip down the claiming ladder and will get a good stalking trip. Southern Symphony (7) draws a better post for today and will be close with the stretch out in distance.
Follow the Kitten is consistent and should handle the local surface. Amanda Devi is a debut runner from a good stable. Infliction has had many chances but has run well enough at times to factor here.
She’s Not Lazy (7) returns from a long layoff for a strong stable and has solid turf form. Praia (10) ran well on the local course and will need a good pace set up today. On the Same Page (5) has put in to good efforts on turf and can land a share of this.
Herd Mentality (7) takes blinkers off, is well spotted here and has a good post draw to sit just off the pace. Joedini (8) faces claiming company for the first time and must be respected. Oldwick (3) is another class dropper and makes his third start off the layoff.
Departing (3) returns from an extended layoff with good works and has the back class to be dangerous in a well matched group. Pass The Dice (4) also returns from nearly a year’s break and has a good local record. Take It Like A Man (2) adds to the group of return runners and showed some good form last year.
Engaginglee (8) ran well in her turf debut and has the pace to get a good spot. Refreshing (9) goes for a top turf team and ran well in her debut. Princess Mariah (6) and Mexican Miss (3) look solid in the Super High 5.
