Champions Day: Champions for Change "Ladies in Racing"

Countless women have played important roles in the horse racing world, from Diane Crump to Rosie Napravnik, to Laska Durnell and Penny Chenery, women have been instrumental in contributing to the advancement and success of the sport. Champions for Change 2022 will focus on celebrating women in racing, highlighting females breaking down barriers in the industry.

Ladies in Racing Symposium will be in the Aristides Lounge from 1PM - 3:30PM. Speakers include: Barbara Banke, Jamie Roth, Dot Morgan, Ferrin Peterson, Dr. Rhonda Rathgeber, Eden Bridgeman Sklenar, Elizabeth McCall, Shannon Arvin and Dora Delgado.

Churchill Downs will be open free-of-charge daily from 7-10 a.m. so guests can watch the nation's top 3-year-old Thoroughbreds train toward their engagements in this year's Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks. Location of viewing is Sections 115-117 and guests will not be allowed to bring outside food or beverage. The Paddock Grill will be open for food and beverage purchases.
