Champions Day, a celebration of Thoroughbred racing history, has moved to Wednesday of Kentucky Derby Week!
Champions Day 2023 commemorates the 50th anniversary of Secretariat's Triple Crown win.

For Derby Week 2023, many of our Premium Dining Rooms will include food, non-alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverages. See the list below for the rooms intended to have All-Inclusive this year by day.

One of our guests favorite decades long Kentucky Derby Week traditions is back!
Join us for the opportunity to see the Kentucky Derby and Oaks contenders train for the big races, while listening to expert commentary. A VIP experience, at no cost! A favorite for decades, guests can watch the Thoroughbreds train while enjoying a delicious buffet breakfast in the Stakes Room or Millionaires Row. Gates open at 7 a.m. and there is an exclusive training window only for Derby (yellow saddle towels) and Oaks (pink saddle towels) participants from 7:30-7:45 a.m. Training continues for all other horses until 10 a.m., notwithstanding renovation breaks from 7-7:30 a.m. and 8:30-9 a.m.
Dawn at the Downs Dining is available for purchase, only on April 30 and May 1.
Please note, the Kentucky Derby & Kentucky Oaks horses do not train for the entire length of the event, but as the event nears we will post their workout times here for you to schedule your day accordingly.
