Race 1 –Ice Festival (2) makes her dirt debut but has the pedigree to handle the surface switch and exits a key race. Sweet Miss Lou (3) is the logical favorite and is the one to beat. Stroke Play (4) can improve in her second start and first on Lasix.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 2-3-4

 Race 2 – Awesome Traum (3) has raced evenly in both tries and will appreciate the added distance today. Lawless West (2) adds blinkers off a nose loss and should be tough to deny. Thirtysevenliveson (5)  improved with the extra ground last out and can take another step forward here.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 3-2-5

Race 3 – Courtier (5) impressed over the turf last out and a repeat of that effort gives him the edge. Broughton Kitten (1) and Wayward Kitten (1a) make a powerful team for the Ramsey Stable with complimentary running styles. Ike Walker (7) has solid efforts on the polytrack and that should transfer well to the turf course for a top stable.

Race 4 – Nun The Less (5) has been improving in each start and looks to get the perfect stalking trip here. Far Right (2) ran well locally and has been running well against top company. Handy Candy (1) shows a sharp recent work and will be closing late. Conquest Tsunami (6) stopped after setting the pace last out but has come back to train well for this.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 5-2-1-6

Race 5 – Island Town (3) showed marked improvement last out and looks to relish the extra distance. Danzig Moon (5) raced evenly in his debut and can take a step forward off that experience. Starbound (9) is the likely favorite off three good efforts and gets the perfect outside trip.

JILL’S SELECTIONS –3-5-9

Race 6 – Sailing Shiksa (1) has trained sharply for her debut and gets Borel on the rail. Super Stylish (3) has also worked well for her first start for a barn proficient with young horses. Pattitude (9) has the experience edge and a strong local recent workout.

Race 7 – Shopaholic (8) exits a decent debut run behind a sharp winner and should improve with a better break today. Knotty Wild Girl (7) debuts for an in form barn has a quick gate workout indicating her readiness. Classy Corinthian (9) has also been working well locally and looks ready to roll at first asking.

Race 8 –Carta De Oro (8) drew off over the Matt Winn course last out and a repeat of that effort makes her tough here. No Fault Of Mine (5) was very impressive in her debut win and is bred to handle the turf for a top stable. Walking The Kitten (3) had a tough trip last out and with better racing luck is the one to hold off down the stretch.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 8-5-3

Race 9 – Taylor S (4) disappointed in the G-1 Alcibiades but can make amends today over the track she was so visually impressive over on her debut run. West Coast Belle (1) and Movie Mystery (1a) make a strong entry with both impressive in first out victories for a powerful team. Streetheart (9) battled gamely in her debut victory and looks to appreciate the better post and added ground today. Hopefaithjoy (10) improved in her second start and fits well in this evenly matched group.

JILL’S SELECTIONS –4-1/1a-9-10

Race 10- Tango Bravo (8) debuts for the powerful Asmussen juvenile contingent with good works and a top pedigree. Senor Grits (1) adds lasix and is likely to improve with the experience of a race last out. Mean Intentions (4) has been working sharply for a barn that excels with young horses. Langdarma (5) and Bluesman (10) are two more good looking first time starters.
