Race 1 – Calculus (5) drops in class and looks well placed. Profit Machine (1) is another on the drop into claiming company for top connections. Lanier (2) adds blinkers and can improve off his debut.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 5-1-2

 

 Race 2 – Truly Royal (5) is better suit to the stretch out in distance here. Daddy’s Pleasure (3) raced well in her first try versus winners and fits well in this group. Hey Court Lady (2) can improve in her second start off the layoff.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 5-3-2

Race 3 – Miesque Amour (8) steps up in good form. Something Blue (7) will like the added distance. Chocolat City (4) exits a strong effort and fits well here.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 8-7-4

 

Race 4 –Whiskey Runner (3) comes into this in his best form and has good speed to be in a close position. Tap and Trade (2) faltered badly last out but is better than that and on previous efforts is a factor. From Day One (1) stopped abruptly versus better and will appreciate the class drop.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 3-2-1

Race 5 – Heir To Dare (6) is consistent, popular at the claim box, and gest the edge here. Unseen Visitor (5) steps up for top connections off a big effort. With Excellence (4) has been off form of late but on her best is a factor.

JILL’S SELECTIONS –6-5-4

Race 6 – Titanium (4) is one of several well bred debut runners with good workouts. Chocolate Cherries (6) has speed and the experience of this group. Designer Soxx (3) should improve off her debut effort.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 4-6-3

 

Race 7 – Double Rah Rah (3) disappointed for new connections last out but seems to perform better on the main track. Congenial (8) did not seem to care for the turf last out and can rebound here. Channeling (1) has been freshened and does his best running locally.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 3-8-1

 

Race 8 –Ouimet (1) raced evenly in a tough stakes race last out and gets a slight edge though the rail post is a disadvantage. Tarpy’s Goal (6) gets a more favorable post today and is usually solid at this level. Positively (2) had a rough start last out and on his best efforts fits well here.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 1-6-2

Race 9 – Puppy Manners (9) made up some ground late and can be a factor here on his best. Bern” James Bern (3) likes the local turf course and is competitive with these. Chiseled (2) is lightly raced and has good turf form.

JILL’S SELECTIONS – 9-3-2

 

Race 10- Colonel Jane (10) showed good speed in her debut and looks set to score today. Holy Harbour (1) has good inside speed and is competitive off her last two tries. Bluegrass Gin (3) has been consistent versus slightly better and looks capable of a top three finish. Amazing Bets (8) and Prestidigitator (5) complete the top 5.
